Within the Global Supply Chain department of Alstom in the Rolling Stock & Components product line, our Material Management department is looking for a Supply Chain Apprentice - Material Management Analyst Apprentice, reporting to the Global Material Planning Manager.

She/he will actively contribute to driving the Material Planning performance for ensuring efficient material planning activities between the different regions in compliance with Alstom rules.

During the apprenticeship period, the Material Management Analyst Apprentice will be responsible for the following tasks within the team:

  • Drive Operating Metrics as well as improvements to monitor consolidated global performance in order to facilitate regional or site performance reviews for the operations KPI: Material Planning such as: OTIF (On Time In Full Delivery - External & Internal), Missing Parts.
  • Help to set up & deploy processes/standards.
  • Improve material planning solutions, perform data-intensive analysis (understanding of collected information and good analytical skills).
  • Update MM training materials to support sites or regions on supply chain stabilization or mobilization of emerging sites/new businesses for the Material Management activities.

Profile

BAC4 or BAC5 in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Production, Procurement, Engineering.

Rigorous, Autonomous, Ability to work in a team, Ability to assimilate a lot of information, Work in complex organisations, English mandatory (able to interact on a daily basis in English).

Computer skills (Office suite; knowledge of PowerBI & statistical tools other than Excel would be a plus).
