Job Description: General Expenses Financial Controller / Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Finance team at AXA Headquarters as a General Expenses Financial Controller or Apprentice, starting from 01/09/2025. Located at 25 avenue Matignon, Paris, this role offers an excellent opportunity within a leading global insurance company dedicated to human progress and safeguarding what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure management control of overhead costs for the Reinsurance Business Unit, participating in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
2. Develop and implement budget templates, automate processes, and adapt templates to group requirements.
3. Participate in annual reporting under CSRD and support management control activities related to SA Holding, including validation of commitments and participation in Anaplan reporting.
4. Tag accounting entries from SAP, prepare quarterly forecasts, and support budget reporting and invoice validation.
5. Complete reports using Magnitude and support other financial control activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of accounting and management control techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with IFRS standards, SAP, and Magnitude tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, discretion, and adaptability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
