We are looking for our next General Expenses Financial Controller / Apprentice starting from 01/09/2025 at our AXA Headquarters!

Location: 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris.

Within Group Finance, you will join the Finance Direction of AXA SA as a General Expenses Financial Controller.

What You’ll Do

The main mission will be to ensure management control of the overhead costs of the Reinsurance Business Unit by participating in budgeting processes for forecasting exercises and strategic planning, as well as contributing to quarterly closings.

  1. Establish the construction of budget templates used to develop budgets and forecasts.
  2. Implement them for the new budgetary exercise/forecast, considering multi-Cost Center/multi-cost aspects, automating where possible, and importing all relevant information to enhance analysis. Adapt templates to meet Group requirements, keeping them updated and improved based on needs.
  3. Participate in the annual reporting required under the CSRD.
  4. Provide occasional support for management control activities related to SA Holding, notably in validating commitments versus budgets and participating in Anaplan reporting.
  5. Tag accounting entries from SAP and provide quarterly reports to accounting based on forecasts and cost management. Assist in preparing budget reports for directors regarding consulting costs, VDMR, and staff monitoring. Validate invoices by verifying they were budgeted and correctly allocated.
  6. Complete reports requested by the Group in Magnitude (Group reporting tool).
Your Profile

Who You Are

  1. Knowledge of accounting and management control techniques.
  2. Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  3. Familiarity with IFRS standards; SAP and Magnitude tools are a plus.
  4. Organizational skills and rigor.
  5. Ability to work in a team.
  6. Discretion, respect for confidentiality, curiosity, adaptability.
