As an Apprentice Developer at RefX Nevio, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that showcase new capabilities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our solutions.

About RefX: Reference eXperience, RefX, is the digital touchpoint product for airlines so that their customers, travelers, can perform any flow online, from booking to check-in but also rebooking, reaccommodating, refund. It is a white-label product with high customization capabilities to ensure a unique experience for each airline’s website. It is currently based on Digital Commerce and Altea back-end.

About Nevio:Nevio is at the forefront of innovation, providing a portfolio of cutting-edge solutions for next-generation airline retailing capabilities and IT simplification. Our platform is built on cloud-native technology and backed by the latest advances in artificial intelligence. It will replace Altea as the back end of RefX and allow to include innovative features in RefX product.

Role Overview

As an apprentice in the Fare Engine team, you will contribute to making our growing codebase more modular, generic, and robust to support existing and new features. You will gain deep experience in backend development and contribute to essential components used across the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. From customer requirements to delivery: Gather inputs from internal needs (your customers) and define the right strategy, technologies and functionalities that you will then develop.
2. Innovation Mindset: Think out of the box, be always customer driven and don't be afraid to test quickly new ideas.
3. UX Focus: Build cool and effective user interfaces quickly, with a strong focus on user experience.
4. AI Integration: Use AI to generate parts of the user interface, ensuring rapid delivery and effective demos.
5. Demo platform maintenance: Ensure that the demo platform is always up-to-date with the latest deliveries from RefX and Nevio releases, including regular technical upgrades of external and internal libraries.
6. Feature Development: Develop innovative features for RefX and other products in our portfolio to demonstrate Nevio's capabilities to customers. This includes working with real live data when feasible or mocking parts that are not yet available to ensure delivery of the proof-of-concept features.
7. Technical Bypass: Perform manual actions to bypass technical limitations and ensure the best demo effect for our customers.
8. Frontend Technologies: Work with frontend technologies such as TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, CSS, etc.

Your Profile

Is pursuing Master’s degree studies in Computer Science, or related technical field and has a good level of proficiency in English.
