Your future team

The ICE Strategic Development team belongs to the Purchasing division of the Volvo Group, and we have 4 project managers based equally between France and Sweden. Our team's mission is to identify the risks faced by our supplier base for combustion engine components due to the energy transition towards electric vehicles. Our work is utilized by purchasing teams to develop their strategies and anticipate market changes in their respective segments.

Our team is motivated by the desire to support each other in the challenges we face, share our best practices, and do so in a positive atmosphere.

We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen the team starting September 1, 2025. We are located in Saint-Priest (France), and our site is well connected to Lyon's public transport networks. The duration and terms of the internship can be adjusted based on your school's constraints.

Here’s how you could make an impact in our team:

1. Be the right-hand person to the strategic project manager across various purchasing segments.
2. Participate in our team discussions about segment strategies.
3. Build a tool to track the evolution of our future volumes by segment.
4. Monitor and streamline the financial performance of our key suppliers.
5. Provide input for the continuous improvement of our procedures.

Who are you?

2. You have a positive attitude, a high energy level, and are ready to take on challenges.
3. You are drawn to business relationships, demonstrate communication skills, and are comfortable in a multifunctional and multicultural environment.
4. You are fluent in English.
5. You enjoy managing multiple activities simultaneously and have a goal-oriented approach.
6. You are pursuing an academic degree in engineering or business school, aiming for a master's in science or business administration.
7. Previous experience in purchasing, technical training, and experience in the automotive industry are considered assets.
