Job Title: APPRENTICE – Machine Learning Engineer

Our Team

The Data Engineering and Analytics team is responsible for building travel analytics solutions based on flight search logs and reservations. We design, develop, and optimize data pipelines across multiple cloud environments. One of our key products is responsible for booking revenue forecasting. Accurate forecasting plays a crucial role in financial planning and strategic decision-making. We are enhancing our forecasting capabilities by integrating machine learning techniques to improve accuracy and adaptability.

Role Overview

As an apprentice, you will be involved in a key project aimed at streamlining and automating the regression test analysis process. Your mission will be to design and implement a solution that reduces the manual effort required to identify recurring test failures, allowing QA engineers to focus on critical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development of a machine learning-based forecasting model to improve booking revenue predictions.
  2. Explore and analyze historical booking and revenue data to identify key patterns.
  3. Develop and train machine learning models for revenue forecasting.
  4. Evaluate different algorithms and select the most suitable approach based on performance metrics.
  5. Optimize model accuracy by implementing feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and validation techniques.
  6. Industrialize the model in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS) and integrate it into the existing data pipeline.
  7. Monitor and continuously improve model performance over time to adapt to market changes.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will receive technical guidance from experienced data scientists, machine learning engineers, and cloud specialists.

Your Profile

You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. You have strong analytical skills and a passion for applying AI to real-world business challenges. You are fluent in English.
