An innovative company is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join their analog and mixed-signal team in microcontrollers engineering. Context
We are looking for an apprentice for two to three years to work on design and verification activities in our analog and mixed-signal team in the microcontrollers engineering division.
You will have the opportunity to acquire experience with cutting edge process in microelectronics, helping on the development of circuits aiming a variety of markets: from industrial to automotive, including consumer and IoT enabling a diversity of implementations, such as Bluetooth radios or AI/machine learning processing.
You will be part of a highly technically skilled team, in an international, friendly and healthy working environment. The team has deep expertise in design of Analog/Mixed signal systems in advanced process nodes.
Your responsibilities
The apprentice will be responsible to perform one or more of the following tasks under continuous
supervision:
Participate and engage him/herself on trainings about circuit design techniques, technology
processes and EDA (electronic design automation) tools
Verify and debug analog and mixed-signal circuit schematics
Design analog building blocks from scratch or change existing circuits to meet new targets
Engage him/herself in the design activities on advanced design projects
Creation of documentation and reports regarding the design activities
Your profile
Education level : Engineering school student in electronics
A good level of English proficiency is required, as you will be working in an international multi-site
The apprentice needs to be self-motivated and interested on the development of a deep understanding about the theory behind electronic circuits
No prior knowledge or professional experience is necessary, but some knowledge of the following topics is a plus:
Electric circuits basic theory
Semiconductors physics basic theory
Analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits
Electronic design automation tools (EDA)
Any scientific programming language (Python, R, MATLAB, Octave, Scilab etc.)
