Mistral AI is seeking Applied Scientists Interns and Research Engineers Interns to drive innovative research and collaborate with clients on complex projects. You will develop SOTA models across modalities such as text, image, and speech, applying methods to diverse use cases.

This position is open for our Paris and London offices. You will work with PyTorch or JAX, write high-quality Python, and ship code with minimal supervision.

Competenze

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated track record of self-driven research or projects.

Mansioni

• Run pre-training, post-training and deploy state-of-the-art models on GPU clusters.
• Generate and curate data for pre-training and evaluation to beat performance benchmarks.
• Develop tools/frameworks for data generation, model training, evaluation and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex use cases using agents and RAG pipelines.
• Manage research projects and communications with client research teams.
