Job Description:

Application Security Consultant/Engineer - 8+ months - Remote - Start ASAP

For our international client, we are currently looking for an experienced Application Security Consultant/Engineer. You will be supporting the client in an ongoing security enhancement project that focuses on securing applications that are exposed to the internet. The client has approx. 5000 domains on the internet that would need to be assessed.

Tasks:

1. Security assessment of applications that are exposed to the internet
2. Identify vulnerabilities and security gaps
3. Best practice advice and suggestions for improvements
4. Implement secure testing methodologies and techniques for application security
5. Maintenance, configuration, and governance of the application security scanning tools
6. Significantly reduce the attack surface of the client's applications
7. Collaboration with different teams

Requirements:

1. Long-term project experience in Security for applications and cyber security
2. Experience in analysing Security gaps and vulnerabilities
3. Experience with penetration testing and red teaming
4. Best practice advisor experience
5. Strong project experience with applications that are exposed to the internet
6. Programming experience in Powershell, Python, or Bash preferred (Understanding or hands-on programming experience)
7. Certified in OSCP or OSCE
8. Experience in international projects

Project details:

1. Start: April
2. Duration: 8 months (+ option to extend)
3. Workload: 5 days/week
4. Location: Remote (EU based)
5. Languages: Fluency in English
