Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with the technical teams of our customers, installers, and distribution partners to provide pre- and post-sales technical support.
  • Conduct product application and installation trainings and facilitate the technical qualification of sales opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems or quality concerns reported by customers or installers, including site visits as required.
  • Prioritize and respond to technical inquiries and requests for product information, technical data or information about product performance.
  • Translate customer requirements and technical specifications into suitable system designs and product offerings.
  • Work in close collaboration with multiple departments, such as Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management, and represent the voice of the customer in new product development or product improvement projects.
  • Support marketing activities including trade shows or writing technical articles as required.
Experiences/Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable in Engineering, Data Communications or a related field.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French (C1 minimum), and English (B2 minimum).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
Requirements
  • Ideally had technical/commercial interface experience within a technology company or the telecommunications industry in the Enterprise and Data Center market segment.
  • Knowledge, experience or training in Optoelectronics, Optical fiber, Optical Cables, Photonics, Telecommunication Networks and/or technical or engineering role desired.
  • High fiber count cabling solutions:
    • cable
    • Pre-terminated connectivity solutions
    • Splicing and ribbon handling
  • Experience with MPO connectivity and ribbon-based connectivity.
  • Familiar with DC Architecture, Fabrics and structured cabling to fit those architectures: Enterprise, AI/ML.
  • Experience as a technical consultant and convince/advise customers on solutions.
  • Ability to travel extensively within France. Travel to other destinations such as Europe, Middle East, Africa, or USA might be required occasionally.
  • A valid driving license and clean driving record to allow renting vehicles as required.
  • Eligible to live and work in France.
