Role Overview
The Global Broking Rates desk in Paris is seeking a Junior Broker to join their team. Ideally, we are looking to engage with local graduates who are fluent in both English and French (written and verbal) and are at the early stages of their career.
Global Broking Rates encompasses a range of interest rate products, including repo (repurchase agreements), government bonds, swaps, and other fixed-income instruments. The repo market plays a crucial role in short-term financing, facilitating liquidity by enabling financial institutions to sell securities with an agreement to repurchase them at a future date. The Paris desk operates within the broader European and global financial landscape, providing key intermediation services to institutional clients.
Please note this is an entry level role into the world of Financial Services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in financial broking, gain exposure to global markets, work within a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment and gradually work their way up to becoming a Broker with clients and regular lines of business.
