Job Summary:

Are you ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrastructure? Bentley is looking for you! We are seeking an Application Engineer reporting to Solution Engineering Management to support key Bentley accounts.

Our Solution Engineering team partners with sales to showcase Bentley solutions to major global organizations. As an Application Engineer, you will prepare content and datasets, deliver product presentations, understand customer requirements, and communicate this knowledge within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Promoting Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.
• Creating presentations and demos showcasing Bentley applications.
• Preparing datasets for user presentations and demos.
• Supporting discovery sessions, defining solution requirements to meet account objectives.
• Supporting sales and marketing events.
• Contributing to proposal development and submission.
• Providing feedback to Product Teams to improve products and collaborating on updates.
• Researching industry standards and recommending product configurations.
• Staying informed about industry trends and competitors.
• Demonstrating the value of technical solutions to designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and owners, helping them achieve or exceed their business goals.
• Engaging with stakeholders and users during engagements to gather insights and share feedback with the account team.
• Communicating effectively with account stakeholders and internal colleagues, attending team meetings.
• Supporting sales opportunities, account planning, and using Salesforce to document activities.
• Facilitating smooth transitions to services engagements through knowledge sharing.
• Supporting training delivery as needed.
• Fostering a collaborative 'One Bentley' culture benefiting our accounts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related field; infrastructure background preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in Information Management, BIM processes, or Electronic Document Management preferred.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Technical sales experience in infrastructure or related industries preferred.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
• Independent judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills using data-driven decisions.
• Strong technical aptitude and quick learner of complex products.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
• Knowledge of Bentley Solutions is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and conferences.

Preferred extras:

• Experience with ProjectWise.
• Proficiency in Italian.
