Job Summary :

Are you ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrastructure? Bentley is looking for you! We are seeking an Application Engineer reporting to Solution Engineering Management to support key Bentley accounts.

Our Solution Engineering team partners with sales to showcase Bentley solutions to major global organizations. As an Application Engineer, you will prepare content and datasets, deliver product presentations, understand customer requirements, and communicate this knowledge within the organization.

Responsibilities include :

• Promote Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.
• Create presentations and demos showcasing Bentley applications.
• Prepare datasets for user presentations and demos.
• Conduct and support discovery sessions, define solution requirements that meet our accounts’ objectives.
• Support sales and marketing events.
• Contribute to proposal development and submission.
• Provide feedback to Product Teams to improve products and collaborate on updates.
• Research industry standards and recommend product configurations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
• Demonstrate the value of our technical solutions to designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and owners, helping them achieve their business goals.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders and users during engagements, gather feedback, and share insights with the account team.
• Communicate regularly and clearly with account stakeholders and internal colleagues, attending and contributing to team meetings.
• Support sales opportunities and account planning, execute the Bentley Sales Process, and document activities in Salesforce.
• Assist in knowledge sharing for smooth transition to services engagements.
• Support training delivery as needed.
• Foster a collaborative culture within Bentley to benefit our accounts.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related field; infrastructure background preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in Information Management, BIM processes, or Electronic Document Management preferred.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Technical sales experience in infrastructure or related industry preferred.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Independent judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical aptitude and quick learner of complex products.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Bentley solutions is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and conferences.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with ProjectWise.
• Proficiency in Italian.
