Node.Digital is seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, maintain and document code for ServiceNow applications in a fast-paced environment. You will follow an Agile lifecycle, contribute to architecture, and ensure testing of features across modules.

The role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Tableau, with emphasis on UX improvements and efficient delivery while adhering to security and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience developing ServiceNow applications.
• Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA).
• Experience with Agile software development and Jira.
• Ability to analyze web-based components and interfaces with databases and APIs.
• Proficiency in version control (GitHub or Subversion).
• Experience in IT support documentation and SOPs.

Application Developer

Location: Chantilly, VA

Must have an active TS/SCI FS Poly

Requirement:

The Contractor shall work from core hours from 0900 hours to 1500 hours with alternative works schedules discussed on a case by case basis.

The Contractor shall follow an Agile methodology for SN software development.

The Contractor shall support the implementation and identified objectives and priorities for SN features and functions and actively contribute to the AGILE methodology for software implementation.

The Contractor shall support the implementation of security and development requirements as required by the sponsor applications.

The Contractor shall follow the document management plan that addresses documents required for all applications and systems, their storage locations and versioning requirements.

The Contractor shall support the implementation of SN reference architecture and documentation as required for SN platform.

The Contractor shall design, develop, maintain, and document code in support of software applications following industry best practices.

The Contractor shall design, develop, maintain and document code in support of databases following industry best practices.

The Contractor shall design, develop, maintain and document code in support of cloud services following industry best practices.

The Contractor shall conduct unit, functional, and user testing.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience

The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications, and demonstrated experience:

Demonstrated experience with development of ServiceNow applications.

111 Demonstrated experience implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards.

Demonstrated experience using agile methodology.

Demonstrated experience using Jira.

Demonstrated experience proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting business goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/Ul), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.

Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, or service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APis to assist in decision-making regarding future development.

Demonstrate experience interfacing with web-based databases and providing reports generation.

Demonstrated on-job experience with version control software like Github or Subversion.

111 Demonstrated experience in managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems.

Demonstrated experience developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.

Demonstrated experience working with compliance or performance management applications.
