Jobtailor is seeking an experienced professional in application design and development to listen to clients, formalize requirements, design and develop applications, and support fixed-price projects from scoping to production deployment.

You will modernize legacy apps, monitor tech trends, advise on solutions, and apply AI as an accelerator while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability across diverse projects.

Qualifications

At least three years’ experience in application design and development.
Comfortable communicating directly with clients, both in writing and verbally.
Self-directed, curious and versatile.
Willing to work in a heterogeneous technical environment with legacy and new projects.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and choosing between agile methods or traditional framework.

Apply agile methodologies appropriately, or use a more traditional framework depending on the project’s needs

Requirements

At least three years’ experience in application design and development
Comfortable communicating directly with clients, both in writing and verbally
Self-directed, curious and intentionally versatile
Willing to work in a heterogeneous technical environment comprising both legacy applications to be modernized and entirely new projects
Proficiency in React, Node.js and JavaScript
Ability to work across the HCL Domino and Notes ecosystem and the Microsoft platform
Experience taking over or migrating an application developed in Microsoft Access is an advantage
Daily use of artificial intelligence, with a critical perspective on the quality, maintainability and security of its outputs
Knowledge of agile methodologies and the ability to choose between agile methods and a traditional framework depending on the project
Permanent contract, executive status
