Airbus is seeking a Customer Support Engineer in Toulouse to support all Airbus commercial customers on electrical systems (ATA24) and exterior lights (ATA33-4x). The role involves handling AOG, answering technical queries, and representing Airbus in customer meetings.

Ideal candidates have aeronautical/electrical engineering credentials, 5+ years on ATA chapters, and strong English communication skills. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Aeronautic and/or Electrical engineering degree.
• Experience and/or knowledge on aircraft electrical systems (ATA24/ATA33-4x) with a minimum of 5 years.
• Customer Support Engineer experience would be a plus.
• Experience and knowledge on aircraft systems would be a plus.
• Negotiation level in English (oral and written).
• Good presentation skills (oral and written).
• Good relationship with team and stakeholders.
• Knowledge about airlines operations to understand customer needs.
• Availability for staggered hours (approx. 5-6 weeks/year) and business trips (1–4/year).

Responsabilités

• Act as the in-service engineer specialist on your ATA chapter.
• Daily answering ATA24/33-4x related engineering queries on all Airbus commercial programs.
• Manage AOG situations and stand-by duty in coordination with the CCC.
• Capitalize on technical concerns to identify reliability drops.
• Voice of Airbus to customers worldwide.
• Voice of the customer within Airbus and with suppliers to drive solutions.
• Handle customer communications reflecting fleet issues resolution progress.
• Represent Airbus in face-to-face customer meetings to address in-service issues.
