CDI – Animation and Visual Merchandiser Project Manager Retail PB Europe

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a designer for the position of an Animation and VM Project Manager Retail PB Europe (H/F) who reports to the Animation and VM Manager Retail PB Europe.

In close collaboration with the various regional and market interlocutors, you are responsible for the adaptation, deployment, and the excellence of execution of the Animations and VM in the network of stand-alone boutiques in your scope.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL

As the key regional referent, your core scope consists of:

Animations

1. You adapt the animations provided by the PB division to each point of sale in your scope in close collaboration with your counterpart responsible for the rest of the European markets.
2. You create detailed guidelines with 3D renders to communicate the artistic vision and technical requirements.
3. You support the local VM-interlocutors to assure the correct deployment of the guidelines.
4. You consolidate post-installation reporting and provide feedback to improve the execution when needed.

Boutique Openings

1. You provide detailed opening Animation and VM guidelines in collaboration with Store planning, Operational Marketing and Retail Development teams.
2. You support local markets with pre-opening considerations: VM and Animation elements to order, produce and source.
3. You travel to the location to take part in opening installations.

VM Culture

1. You are a driver and an ambassador of retail excellence at Chanel by spreading and maintaining VM culture and awareness among boutique-staff and all local VM-stakeholders.
2. You create digital content to inspire and communicate key messages to various VM-stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

1. Your expertise, built on 2+ years of experience in VM, animations, or events, combined with a higher education background in art, space design, product design, or graphic design, and a strong foundation in merchandising and/or event architecture.
2. You have a highly developed aesthetic sense and an impeccable eye for detail.
3. You are organized, rigorous and can follow up multiple subjects simultaneously.
4. Your ‘can-do’ attitude, proactivity, and reliability.
5. Your passion for design and VM and eagerness to communicate your vision.
6. Your portfolio showcasing work samples that align with the requirements of the position.
7. Your proficiency in software, mainly: SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Excel.
8. Your fluency in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
