The Afapei of Calaisis is recruiting an experienced socio-educational animator (H/F) for the GEM du Dragon. The GEM du Dragon is an association of individuals affected by mental health issues, based in Calais. Members organize mutual aid activities to prevent social withdrawal and promote well-being. In 2024, there were 49 members. Since 2020, Afapei of Calaisis has supported the management of GEM du Dragon, which complies with the specifications of the Mutual Aid Groups (GEM) established by the ARS Hauts-de-France (decree of June 27, 2019). It provides a facilitator (H/F) to the GEM du Dragon. The main responsibilities of this facilitator include:

1. Planning activities, outings, and leisure trips with members based on their proposals;
2. Supporting members in activities, outings, and stays;
3. Fostering group cohesion;
4. Mediating or managing interpersonal conflicts when necessary;
5. Participating in mandatory organizational meetings (general assemblies and board meetings) and preparing minutes;
6. Communicating with service providers (landlords, energy, and telecommunications suppliers) and partners such as the City of Calais, Calais Hospital, and psychiatric clinics, and coordinating interventions;
7. Promoting and ensuring the participation of GEM in territorial health initiatives (e.g., Community 360, PTSM Littoral, inter-GEM network);
8. Handling financial contributions from members and reporting to the FIDAC accounting firm;
9. Maintaining the member registry;
10. Preparing and submitting annual activity and financial reports for approval by the Afapei management and ARS Hauts-de-France;
11. Reporting serious adverse events to the relevant authorities (ARS Hauts-de-France and/or Prosecutor's Office).

The ideal candidate must have several years of experience in social animation and a good understanding of working with individuals with mental health challenges. Relevant state diplomas at Level 6 (e.g., DESJEPS, DEES, DECESF) are required.

Contract Details

Type: CDI

Work hours: 35 hours/week, daytime shifts

Salary: €2039 gross per month, paid over 12 months
