Tarmac Technologies in Paris is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own and scale our customer analytics platform. You will define metrics, build scalable data models in dbt, and enable customers and internal teams to explore data, create dashboards, and gain actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, BI, or similar data role.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on DBT experience.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
• Experience with BI/analytics platforms such as Omni, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, metrics, and data governance.
• Customer and product mindset with focus on usable analytics products.
• Experience with data quality tests, monitoring, docs, and Git-based CI/CD.

Responsabilités

• Own the development and scaling of Tarmac’s analytics platform and semantic layer.
• Understand customer operations and translate needs into scalable analytics capabilities.
• Build and maintain reliable data models in dbt powering customer analytics and internal reporting.
• Configure Omni Analytics for a consistent, AI-powered user experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and CS to turn needs into reusable capabilities.
• Define metrics and ensure consistent business definitions across products.
• Enable self-service with dashboards, docs, training, and light-touch support.
• Monitor usage, performance, and adoption to improve impact and data quality.
• Maintain data quality, security, governance with tests, lineage, and access controls.
• Optimize Redshift and DBT, including incremental models, performance, and deployment workflows.
• Leverage AI tools and MCP integrations to accelerate development and analysis.
