The Limoges site specializes in aseptic filling and is our Center of Excellence in Biotechnology for the European market, focusing on clinical activities up to phase 3. We are seeking an Analytical Scientist, Biologics – Mass Spectrometry Specialist to support our growth in Limoges.

The role:

• Perform method development, validation, and transfer activities.
• Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and ensure result reliability. Present findings clearly both verbally and in written reports.
• Author and review technical documents including protocols, test methods, reports, certificates of analysis, and operating procedures.
• Stay informed of relevant scientific and technical literature.
• Train, coach, or mentor team members.
• Collaborate on technical transfer and scale-up support with Manufacturing Science & Technology and Operations.
• Participate in client meetings to provide technical support.
• Propose innovative solutions to routine and complex problems within your expertise.

The candidate:

• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining mass spectrometers, especially Orbitrap systems.
• Proficient in acquisition and analysis software such as XCalibur and Chromeleon (Thermo); experience with other software like Analyst, Unifi, Empower, Biopharma Finder, Progenesis is a plus.
• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, or related field, with specific experience in protein mass spectrometry.
• Proven track record as an individual technical expert and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Will develop analytical methods for drug product formulation, characterization, and testing of drug substances and products.
