Qualifications

Analytical Chemistry Account Manager - France

Our client is a biotech company providing innovative workflow solutions and their products support customers in Drug Discovery & Development, Analytical Testing, and Water & Environmental Testing.

With a strong commitment to sustainable science, their goal is to make the world healthier, greener, and cleaner.

They are currently seeking an Account Manager to drive sales and business growth in Paris & West of France, managing their market-leading Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and Supported Liquid Extraction (SLE) solutions, along with complementary instrumentation and automation.

As an Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of the sales efforts, responsible for:

  • Developing and managing customer relationships within your assigned territory
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets through proactive territory management
  • Identifying and qualifying new leads, conducting customer presentations, and attending industry events
  • Providing hands-on product demonstrations and technical expertise
  • Reporting market trends and competitive insights
  • Accurately forecasting sales and maintaining customer data in Salesforce CRM

This is a field-based role, requiring frequent travel (approx. 3 days per week in the field, 2 days home office), with a preferred base in Paris or nearby areas.

The successful candidate will be science enthusiast:

  • You hold a BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant life science or analytical chemistry discipline
  • Experienced in the field: 2+ years in technical sales (capital & consumables) or commercial experience in a lab setting
  • Familiar with SPE & LC-MS techniques (a strong advantage)
  • An excellent communicator: Fluent in French & English, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Customer-focused & results-driven: You have a track record of achieving profitable sales growth
  • A self-starter with a team mindset
