BU CDMO is gathering more than 1,000 employees based in 7 sites located in Europe and the USA. It is a leading player in the fast-growing CDMO market (ADC, Omega3…) with technology-driven differentiation such as chromatography, hazardous chemistry, cryogeny, and flow chemistry.

The industrial site of Chasse sur Rhône (20 min south of Lyon – served by train - 280 employees) is classified SEVESO 3 upper threshold and specializes in the development and custom production of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for a Manager of the Methods and Projects (M / F) within the Quality Control Department / Methods and Projects (CQ / PMP).

Reporting to the QC / PMP Manager, your main mission is to organize the analytical development/validation activity and analytical support for new projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Supervise a team of Project Managers and Analytical Studies Managers of approximately 10 people.
2. Manage projects in liaison with customers, chemists from the R&D department, and project managers.
3. Supervise the development, transfer, and validation of analytical methods.
4. Participate in the technological watch of the service.

Qualifications

Profile:

Holder of a Bac + 5 in analytical chemistry, supplemented by successful management experience in the field of Analytical Development, you master the analysis techniques used for the analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPLC, GC, NMR, MS, etc.). You ideally have experience in project management.

You are dynamic, creative, concerned about achieving ambitious goals. You have a sense of priorities, good interpersonal skills, and recognized communication skills.

Knowledge of GMP and fluency in English are essential.
