Job Description:

Under the supervision of your tutor and the project teams dedicated to continuous improvement of environmental footprint measurement, you will develop your skills by participating in various phases of the life cycle analysis (LCA) of the Banque de France's information system:

  1. Collect and segment data;
  2. Analyze data quality and maturity levels to identify root causes and improvement areas;
  3. Identify correspondences with available impact factors;
  4. Model studies using the impact calculation tool (Resilio);
  5. Establish a methodology for consistency control over equipment typology and tracking over time;
  6. Analyze impacts of methodological changes and impact factors;
  7. Update and evolve the transposition matrix of results in the Banque de France's Greenhouse Gas Inventory (BEGES);
  8. Monitor practices in digital responsibility: contribute to inter-company work and discussions (INR, CRIP), improve responsible coding practices (e.g., green coding, quality control), and contribute to team training;
  9. Model the projection of the footprint considering new trends and the evolution strategy of the information system.
Profile:

Education: Master's student (BAC +5) in computer science, environment, or sustainable development with a strong interest in digital sustainability issues.

Skills:

  • Ability to have an overview of technical aspects and hardware used in managing and designing information systems;
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, etc.) and data analysis;
  • English level B1-B2 preferred.
