Wake Forest University School of Business in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an Assistant Director, Alumni Engagement to lead volunteer networks, expand recognition programs, and deepen student-alumni connections. The role requires on-campus presence and collaboration with a dynamic team.

You will manage Alumni Council projects, plan reunions, oversee recognition events, coordinate speaker engagements with student clubs, track outcomes, and pilot innovative engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree with several years of related experience in volunteer management, events, or higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to build networks and partnerships.
• Strong organizational and execution skills with deadline discipline.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to design processes and use data/feedback to improve programs.
• Collaborate with diverse student populations, staff, and faculty.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and alumni software.

Responsabilités

• Volunteer management: serve as the clearinghouse for alumni hand-raisers and place alumni into roles.
• Alumni Council project leadership: lead and support project teams to align with School of Business goals.
• Reunion programming: plan and coordinate reunion events for graduate alumni; use feedback to improve programming.
• Alumni recognition: oversee recognition program, celebrate major life events.
• Student-alumni connectivity: be the contact for student clubs seeking alumni speakers; vet requests and match high-impact alumni.
• Future initiatives: identify trends and pilot new engagement ideas.
• Metrics & Analytics: report outcomes related to volunteer engagement and events.
• Regional & off-campus events: coordinate local alumni events to boost participation.
