Job Description

AbbVie France recruits for the position of Chargé.e d’Affaires Médicales in alternance in Ophthalmology.

This position is available from September/October 2025 for a duration of 12 months.

Your Missions

You will work closely with internal staff from the France subsidiary and counterparts from other subsidiaries, Business Units, Medical Department, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, Clinical Operations, RMR, etc., as well as externally with the medical community, specialists, CROs, and communication agencies.

Your main activities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the products and therapeutic area assigned to you.
  • Participating in monitoring the subsidiary's study programs in collaboration with Medical Advisors.
  • Contributing to the preparation and validation of non-promotional documents.
  • Assisting in the design of medical and scientific communication and overseeing medical activities, including scientific publications.
  • Supporting the organization of programs such as press conferences, symposia, scientific exchange meetings, etc.
  • Assisting in the development and validation of promotional documents and arguments, ensuring objectivity, proper drug use, regulatory compliance, and adherence to the medical visit charter.
  • Reviewing and validating scientific training supports for medical visits.
  • Contributing to the creation and updating of scientific content used by RMR.
  • Participating in scientific congress communications and meetings.
  • Supporting the presentation of medical content during medical seminars.
  • Participating in organizing scientific reflection meetings with experts and conducting scientific monitoring related to the product, indications, and competitive environment.
Qualifications
  • Student with a BAC+5 level in life sciences (pharmacy, scientific, etc.)
  • First experience in the pharmaceutical industry, curious and motivated
  • Strong adaptability and critical thinking skills
  • Team player, autonomous, responsible
  • Basic knowledge in project management, communication, pharmacology, and therapeutic domains
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases)
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
