Givaudan recherche un apprenti pour une durée d'un an, basé à Avignon. Le candidat participera à l'évaluation d'ingrédients pour les applications alimentaires et nutraceutiques, en contribuant à la formulation, réalisant des tests de stabilité et menant des analyses pour assurer la conformité des produits. Ce poste s'adresse à un étudiant BAC+3 souhaitant acquérir une expérience pratique dans le développement de produits dans un environnement innovant.

• Rédiger des rapports sur les résultats et les recommandations.

We propose to recruit an apprentice for a one-year period to assist in the evaluation of a new ingredients for food and nutraceutical applications. This role is essential for the development of recipes, implementation of the ingredient in these recipes, and the establishment and monitoring of stability.

Key activities:

Integrated into the Apply Science & Technology laboratory, you will have for main activities:

• Contribute to the formulation of innovative recipes incorporating the new ingredient, ensuring they meet both quality and regulatory standards.
• Assisst in the practical application of the ingredient within various recipes, gaining hands-on experience in product development.
• Be responsible for setting up and monitoring stability tests to ensure the ingredient maintains its properties over time.
• Conduct physico-chemical analyses to evaluate the ingredient's characteristics and performance in different formulations.
• Participate in sensory evaluations to assess the ingredient's impact on taste, texture, and overall product acceptability.
• Interpret the results from the analyses and tests conducted, providing insights into the ingredient's functionality.
• Create reports to share findings and recommendations

Your Profile includes:

• Good scientific/analytical skills: food formulations, design of experiments, some knowledges about natural extracts, analytical physico-chemistry experiences
• PC-based computing experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and French
• Ability to taste and be exposed to strong smells and tastes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data collection & documentation
• Results-oriented, independent, open, and adaptable skills
• Demonstrated curiosity and desire to learn and grow in the field of science & technology

Educational Background:

We are looking for candidates with a BAC+3 level education, such as a Licence in science/formulation (LMD, Professional or technologist licence). This educational background will ensure the apprentice has a solid foundation in relevant scientific principles and practices.

This contract is available from September 2025 located in Avignon (84).
