This role operates under the guidance of senior colleagues. The Intern / Apprentice assists with tasks relevant to their specific area or function, providing an opportunity to develop expertise in their field of study.

What you'll be doing

NTT DATA is seeking a performant Alternant(e) Intern/Apprentice for the role of Inside Client Manager DC/Cloud to join our large accounts team.

Objective: Support the development of NTT DATA's Data Center and Cloud offerings within the large accounts sector in France.

Under the supervision of a Sales Specialist, you will support the commercial development of the NTT DATA Collaboration BU among prospects and clients within Global Accounts. You will be involved in the entire sales cycle for complex deals involving C-level stakeholders.

You will learn our sales methodologies and support Account Managers and Sales Specialists in developing their accounts.

Potential career progression to Sales Specialist or Account Manager after this apprenticeship.

Your missions in this role include:

  • Establishing new business relationships with influential contacts within targeted accounts through discovery meetings, email campaigns, trade shows, or unified communications events.
  • Promoting Microsoft Teams adoption among client subsidiaries that have not yet adopted this service, through autonomous prospecting and support during discovery phases with pre-sales teams.
  • Identifying business teams within clients to promote NTT DATA's Cloud and Data Center solutions.
  • Building and maintaining a sales pipeline in our CRM by identifying qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborating internally with Account Managers, Pre-sales, Project Managers, Legal, Finance teams, and externally with partners like Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, etc.
  • Contributing to the drafting and presentation of commercial proposals and contracts during RFPs or direct consultations.
  • Regularly following up on relationships with clients and prospects.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, ideally you have:

  • Experience in telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling.
  • Ability to understand and clearly explain complex issues.
  • A creative and client-oriented synthesis mindset.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal ease.
  • Excellent organizational skills (rigor, multitasking, prioritization).
  • A general understanding of IT, with a keen interest in digital and data hosting sectors.

Your profile:

  • Seeking an apprenticeship for your final year to validate your Master’s degree.
  • Interest in technological watch, especially in Cloud or Data Center domains, with available training options.
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, and persistent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and articulate communication.
  • Capable of communicating in English.
  • Previous experience in IT within an ESN, especially in software sales or project integration, with an interest in the financial sector, is a plus.
