Under the supervision of the Data Management Team Leader within the 'Construction Industries' branch, you will join the IT Department.
Your mission: Participate in managing the Data Lake that consolidates data from all group factories.

Task Details:

Our team manages data from various Caterpillar factories. Our internal clients are spread across different countries (France, USA, UK, Brazil, China, Japan, India, Thailand…). You will have the opportunity to communicate with contacts in different regions worldwide.

1. You will set up data loads using our ETL tool to respond to internal client requests.
2. You will develop SQL views in our Data Lake (Snowflake environment) to meet internal analysis needs.
3. You will participate in evolving our Python-based ETL tool to optimize our solution and enable the collection and loading of new data sources into our Data Lake.
4. Depending on your progression, you may lead Data projects from requirements gathering to implementation within our Data Lake.
5. After developing and enriching our Data Lake, we are launching new Machine Learning projects for factories. Once proficient in managing the Data Lake and ETL, you will participate in deploying and supporting Machine Learning solutions (Snowflake + Snowpark + Python).

Profile and Required Skills:

You have completed a Bac +2 training and are seeking an apprenticeship contract to obtain an engineering degree in Computer Science. You are admitted to a training center.

You demonstrate the following knowledge/skills:

• Good understanding of databases and SQL query development
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python
• Experience using GIT for version control
• Ability to communicate in English with teams in the USA and India
• Interest in working in an industrial environment and exploring different factory roles
• Desire to work in a multicultural environment with clients worldwide, based in Grenoble and beyond
