What will be your role?

Integrated into the Communication and Marketing (CMP) division of Proparco, within the editorial team, under supervision, the editorial communication intern will have the following main missions:

  • - Support in creating institutional materials: Collecting and verifying sources from various departments to feed our institutional outputs: Impact report, key figures, Top 10 projects, etc. Reviewing layouts, managing translations.
  • - Support in writing and editing journalistic content: Assisting with editing and secretarial tasks for content such as articles, analyses, interviews, dossiers; managing online translations; collaborating with the web editor to optimize content.
  • - Support in updating and managing the website: Writing articles to promote Proparco’s activities, organizing information collection, updating content, and promoting the Proparco Private Sector and Development review (SP&D). Participating in editorial meetings.
  • - Participation in compiling studies produced by Proparco: Using the online Studies and Research application to compile studies, and engaging in inter-departmental projects.

Who are we looking for?

Profile and skills: Higher education (top schools, communication schools, master's in communication), interest in development, international relations, media, and communication. Motivated to work in a public institution implementing France's development policy. Strong writing and interpersonal skills, team-oriented. Synthesis, creativity, autonomy required. Proficiency in office tools essential. Knowledge of the development sector and AFD group is a plus, as is international experience.

Minimum educational level: Bac +4

Languages: Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Start date: Ideally September 15

Duration: 12 to 24 months
