Le candidat participera à la gestion d'un système de dépôt pour les serveurs, engageant divers acteurs d'un environnement international. What you will be doing?

Within the Volvo Group, you will join the DDA Dealer Management organization in the RT-DMS (Renault Trucks Dealer Management System) product team as Software Engineer / Initiative leader. The aim of this Dealer Management organization is to provide the dealer network of Volvo Group brands with IT products that enable them to manage their entire business. Would you like to work in an international, multicultural environment? Would you like to develop innovation within a major group?

The RT-DMS solution is deployed for 150 Renault-Trucks dealers with a decentralized architecture, i.e. on 150 servers. The aim of the assignment will be to propose a solution for managing a repository of those servers, with all the information required by the different stakeholders using this repository.

Following the agility principles, your mission will cover the following actions cadenced in an iterative approach:

  • Inventory of existing information on dealers' servers and how it is used (AS IS)
  • Mapping of all stakeholders using the list of servers (who, for what purpose, when ...)
  • Identification of the needs of those stakeholders
  • Proposal of a solution
  • Define repository update process and responsibilities
  • Development of a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and then delivery of successive versions based on users’ feedback
  • Support and training of end users
  • Documentation of the solution

To carry out this mission, you will conduct interviews with stakeholders and organize co-creation workshops to define the target solution in collaboration with the RT-DMS team members.

You will work within the RT-DMS product team and report to one DPO of the RT-DMS Team

Who are you?
  • You are a Master 1 or 2 student with a major in information systems, looking for an apprenticeship.
  • You are curious and you know how to collect, analyze, and synthesize user needs.
  • You must be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing (English), with a good ability to synthesize and summarize information.
  • You enjoy teamwork and sharing your knowledge.
  • You are autonomous, motivated, and able to take a step back.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical skills:
    • Mandatory: Java 11+, Spring, Maven, SQL, REST API, Angular, HTML + CSS (basics)
    • Optional: Azure Devops pipeline, OAUTH2 and MS Entra ID, Azure (App Service, KeyVault, Storage)
