Ski Weekends in the Alps is seeking a Chalet Host to join our overseas team. You will live and work in the French Alps, delivering high standards of hospitality, cooking, cleaning and guest services across chalets in Portes du Soleil, Val d'Isere, or Argentiere.

You must be 21+, speak fluent English, and be willing to work on a 35h French contract with paid travel and accommodation benefits. A visa may be required for non-EU candidates.

Qualifications

• Be a good cook with chalet host cookery training or 1+ year in hospitality.
• Attention to detail with high hygiene standards.
• Confident, flexible, and able to work alone to meet schedules.
• Positive, friendly attitude with strong communication.
• Desire to provide high level of customer service.
• Open to EU/UK candidates; UK require visa.
• Excellent English required as guests are English-speaking.
• Must be over 21 for insurance purposes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve breakfast and afternoon tea.
• Prepare and serve dinner and clear away.
• Accommodate dietary requirements.
• Communicate meal arrangements to chalet group.
• Daily housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Maintain presentable appearance; uniform provided.
• Answer calls, hand out keys, and assist guests.
• Clear snow from paths; keep pathways safe.
• Keep chalet exterior tidy and rubbish-free.
• Know resort details and local services.
• Weekly guest arrivals and stocktakes; hygiene checklists.
• Submit weekly food stocktakes and paperwork.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Help out in other chalets/resorts when needed.
