Port of Portland is seeking a PDX Maintenance Electrician to keep the airport’s electrical supply and airfield lighting operational across graveyard and swing shifts. The role covers maintenance of power, lighting control, fire alarms, UPS, generators, and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of four years of PLC-based control experience, a general or plant journeyman license, and the ability to obtain a security badge.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
• General Journeyman or Plant Journeyman license.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a Security Badge at PDX or other Port facilities with certain designations.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Electrical supply throughout the Airport systems including but not limited to pump stations, airfield lighting, lighting, lighting control, fire alarm, access controls, UPS, and generators.
• Trouble-shoot electrical and electronic controls, including relay logic, PLC programming.
• Respond to equipment malfunction.
• Work shifts as required (graveyard/swing).
