Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane is seeking a Development Engineer Airframe to join the Airframe Design Engineering team. You will contribute to new development projects, from Preliminary design to certification, across prototypes, pre-serial, and serial structures.

The role requires knowledge of composite and metallic materials, and proficiency in Catia V5 with VPM and SAP, plus strong analytical skills and autonomy in a highly international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Knowledge of composite materials and metallic lightweight materials is a plus.
• Experience with helicopter design and development processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary design of helicopter structures and subassemblies.
• Create CAD drawings and BOMs for prototypes and serial parts, including release processes.
• Support industrialization, tooling design, and scheduling for certification activities.
