Qualifications

• Diplôme en ingénierie, de préférence mécanique, électrique ou industriel.
• Expérience en R&D ou ingénierie d'emballage souhaitée.

What you will do

The EMEA MS&T Packaging Supervisor is responsible for development and qualification of tertiary packaging projects mainly. These projects might be – but not limited to – NPD, quality and compliance, improvement of existing packaging, qualification of equivalent packaging materials, packaging cost improvement, plant support, improvement of products profitability, development of new products or roll out of existing ones. The EMEA MS&T Packaging Supervisor demonstrates high level of accountability in projects documentation to ensure Quality & Compliance targets are systematically met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and evaluate technical solution, including materials aligned to sustainability guidelines.
2. Define & execute the packaging development plan.
3. Analyze and validate packaging technical drawing.
4. Define and communicate packaging milestones.
5. Evaluate and communicate risks with associated mitigation / back up plan.
6. Initiate safety assessment process, through proper communication to responsible department.
7. Generate Packaging documentation for Product release for his own projects or can validate packaging document for projects managed by another member of the Team.
8. Contribute to innovation developing consumer understanding and identifying new ideas.
9. Be part of transversal team on simplification / innovation project.
10. Lead external suppliers in technical assessment and validation process of improvement projects.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience required in R&D or Engineering Packaging
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Strong skills in project management.
• Good relational and organizational skills, proactivity and flexibility in problem solving and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
