Job summary

Sephora is seeking a senior AI strategy leader to define and govern enterprise AI initiatives across regions, translating business needs into data requirements and driving value realization.

You will oversee a portfolio of AI programs, ensuring ethical practices, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data, AI, advanced analytics, or related fields.
• Significant leadership experience in a complex or large-scale organization.
• Experience in a Consulting Firm is a plus.
• Business-oriented mindset with strategic focus.

Responsibilities

• Define a strong measurement framework to estimate AI initiative impact and track value delivered.
• Map ongoing AI initiatives across regions and assess business potential.
• Identify and promote high-potential AI initiatives for scaling with clear roll-out milestones.
• Orchestrate AI roll-outs with business stakeholders and AI experts, translating business needs into data requirements.
• Ensure AI solutions align with business expectations and deliver measurable value.
• Lead adoption, usability, and change-management to maximize impact.
• Maintain continuous improvement backlogs for AI programs.
• Provide strong leadership to AI, data science, and related teams; develop capabilities and high delivery standards.
• Foster ethical AI practices, ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance in collaboration with Data Governance & Legal.

Define a strong measurement framework which allows both to estimate the potential impact of future AI Initiatives and to track the real delivered value

Map existing AI initiatives tested in Regions (NorAm, EME, SEA, Latam, China) and assess their business potential, according to standards defined

Identifyand promote, from ongoing assessment, the most promising AI initiatives to be scaled. Define the roll-out milestones starting with most valuable setups

Orchestrate AI initiatives roll-out, working closely with business stakeholders and AI experts, and relying on AI Strategists directly reported to them. Ensure businessissuestranslation into data requirements. Manage datacollectaccording to AI experts’ prerequisites and Data Governance teams guidelines

Assure that AI solution at the core of each AI use case matches perfectly with business expectations

Manage adoption, usability, delivered value of the use cases and organize change management plans whenrequired

Structure some continuous improvement backlogs

Provide strong leadership to AI, data science, and related teams, setting direction, developing capabilities, and fosteringhigh standardsof delivery

Encourage ethical AI practices,comply withdata privacy and regulatory standards throughout projects in collaboration with the Data Governance & Legal Department

Foster innovation to make Sephora an actor of referenceregardingthe use of AI

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership

Experience in retail, consumer, digital, or omnichannel environments is a plus
