Job summary

CMA CGM is offering an end-of-studies internship in Marseille, focused on Shipping IT. You will take ownership of an AI-augmented application used across business teams, delivering features from spec to production with models, RAG, and conversational assistants.

You will collaborate with users, gather needs, and turn them into concrete solutions while managing costs and performance of AI components. The role emphasizes hands-on development and a product mindset.

Qualifications

• Education required: Bac+5 engineering or Master's in CS.
• Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience with REST APIs and web interfaces (React a plus).
• Hands-on Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews).
• Interest in generative AI; agentic approaches a plus.
• Assets: FastAPI, Node.js, Bun, automated testing, Python data processing.
• Familiar with accessibility standards (RGAA, WCAG) and GDPR topics.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the existing codebase from specification to production.
• Evolve AI components: language-model based features, RAG, conversational apps.
• Engage with user teams and present technical choices clearly.
