Mistral AI is seeking Applied Scientists to push AI-powered physics models at the frontier of simulation. You will work with customers and internal teams to deploy AI-physics solutions alongside LLM offerings, across domains like CFD, structural mechanics, and multi-physics.

You will curate high-fidelity simulation datasets, train and evaluate models, and deliver production-grade AI solutions to engineering teams while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in AI or engineering science required.
• Strong background in AI and engineering or physics.
• Experience with simulation and ML integration is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Design and run large-scale simulation campaigns using domain-specific solvers (OpenFOAM, ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus).
• Train AI models on physics data with rigorous evaluation against industry standards.
• Build tools for automated dataset creation, simulation pipelines, and model evaluation.
• Develop agents and RAG that integrate LLMs with engineering simulation workflows.
• Collaborate with science/research teams on training runs and diagnose data/model issues.
• Manage research projects and client communications with engineering teams.
