Airbus Defence and Space in Boulogne-Billancourt seeks an AI Network Software Engineer to design, develop and evolve advanced networking solutions. You will work on IP networks, SDN, and software-driven control, automation, and programmability in a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll contribute to next-generation network architectures, test strategies, and technical reviews while engaging with ML and software teams to prototype innovative networking concepts.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of professional experience in IP networking and SDN.
• Strong knowledge of IP routing, switching and traffic engineering.
• Solid background in SDN architectures and controllers.
• Experience with software-based networking, NFV and VNF/CNF is a plus.
• Proficient in Python, Java, C/C++, Rust; Linux OS familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Contributing to design and evolution of IP and SDN architectures.
• Developing software components for network control, automation, and orchestration.
• Defining test scenarios and validation strategies for networks and SDN.
• Collaborating with ML, networking, software, and systems teams to prototype concepts.
• Producing architecture documentation and validation results.
• Participating in reviews, demos and presentations of solutions.
• Contributing to IP and its dissemination through patents and publications.
