Job summary

Linkup is seeking a forward-deployed engineer to work with founders, customers, and partners to integrate our AI-ready search APIs into real-world products. You’ll shape how AI agents connect to live information and drive product, marketing, and outbound strategy.

In a highly cross-functional role, you’ll bridge engineering, GTM, and customer success, turning technical deployments into customer value while growing with a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in technical support engineering, software engineering, or solutions engineering.
• Strong API integration skills with REST/JSON payloads, auth flows, and latency optimization.
• Understanding of web infrastructure, distributed systems, or retrieval pipelines.
• Ability to debug integrations in customer environments and resolve ambiguities.
• Clear, empathetic communication with technical and business audiences.
• Curiosity about AI infrastructure and the emerging agentic ecosystem.
• Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deploy integrations of Linkup’s APIs with real-world agentic systems.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities: technical discovery, PoC design, and demos.
• Collaborate with backend, ML, and product teams to ensure performance at scale.
• Partner with GTM Engineer and DevRel to turn learnings into tutorials and playbooks.
• Identify and implement technical integrations with partners in the workflow.
• Translate complex concepts for developers and business audiences.
