Linkup is seeking a top-tier Forward Deployed Engineer to work with founders, customers, and partners in shaping how AI-ready search APIs are integrated into real-world applications. You will bridge engineering, GTM, and customer success to convert integrations into insights that influence product roadmaps and marketing narratives.

You’ll design and deploy API-based solutions, collaborate across teams, and help customers implement Linkup’s web-scale integrations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical support engineering, software engineering, or solutions engineering with direct application development experience.
• Strong API integration skills - design and debug REST/JSON payloads, manage auth flows, and optimize latency.
• Understand web infrastructure, distributed systems, or retrieval pipelines.
• Able to debug integrations and solve ambiguous technical challenges in customer environments.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with both technical and business audiences.
• Curious about AI infrastructure, retrieval, and the emerging agentic ecosystem.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, prototype, and deploy integrations of Linkup’s APIs into real-world agent systems with customers/partners.
• Participate in pre-sales efforts - technical discovery, proof-of-concept design, and demo environments.
• Collaborate with backend, ML, and product teams to ensure performance and reliability at scale.
• Partner with GTM and DevRel teams to turn customer learnings into automation, tutorials, and playbooks.
• Identify and implement technical integrations with partners in the value chain (workflow orchestration, AI frameworks, etc.).
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for developers and business audiences.
