AI infrastructure Solution Architect

AI demand acceleration is driving structural changes across the full value chain of the datacenter, especially due to new high-density cluster deployments: from the grid to chip and chip to chiller.

While we acknowledge that the Cloud & Service Providers segment is experiencing significant growth in datacenter construction, Schneider also has a unique opportunity to expand its coverage towards AI ecosystem players that serve enterprise customers.

Your role :

The AI Infrastructure Solution Architect will be responsible for influencing AI infrastructure architecture design, leading customer engagement on technical streams, and enabling business opportunities for Schneider Electric.

Your main responsibilities :

1. Support AI ecosystem account teams across the complete Schneider Electric offer portfolio.
2. Act as a pre-sales technical advisor to influence AI ecosystem accounts on architectures, systems, and solutions for AI data center applications.
3. Lead development of technical workstreams in partnership with AI ecosystem accounts.
4. Deliver technical value propositions, needs, and requirements documented for customers.
5. Identify potential offer enhancements or gaps, collaborating with AI solution teams and LoB to support growth opportunities and investment case shaping.
6. Ensure effective communication with global teams (System engineers, Program Managers, etc.) to maintain consistency.

Domain of expertise :

1. Application scope: AI infrastructure deployment across the value chain (GPUs, Servers, Racks & stacks) for small and large datacenters.
2. Technical scope: From Grid to Chip to Chiller, focusing on IT room components like PSU, rack-PDU, racks, PDU, liquid cooling, MV/LV, transformers, backup generation, power conversion/UPS, and heat rejection systems including air cooling.
3. Digital transformation: Ability to lead and leverage EcoStruxure suite covering Power, Building, and IT domains.

Your profile :

1. Engineering or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Electronics.
2. At least 8 years of technical experience in critical facilities, including roles like application or design engineer, product/system development manager, business development, or solution architect.
3. Over 5 years of experience engaging with customers in various technical environments.
4. Proven experience in data center applications, architecture development, and reference design.
5. Leadership qualities: entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, customer and results orientation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
7. System architecture methodology certification is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to guide customer decisions.
9. Technical expertise with capacity to coordinate expertise and define solutions.
10. Excellent communication skills in internal and external contexts.
11. Ability to foster cooperation in large, international organizations and develop influence within the ecosystem.
12. Fluent in English; additional languages like French or Spanish are a plus.
13. Willingness to travel approximately 40% across Europe.
