Ubisoft Paris Studio is seeking a Prompt Specialist to join a multidisciplinary team focused on AI-driven game features. You will help design prompts, ensure accessibility across departments, and maintain prompt quality while optimizing performance and cost.

The role requires deep knowledge of AI models, strong English writing, and the ability to translate user needs into clear specifications. Paris-based, onsite with engaging company benefits.

Qualifications

• Passionate about video games with at least one prior experience in a tech company.
• Proven experience designing prompts for various tasks and across multiple providers; familiar with agents, function calling, reasoning strategies, chain/tree of thought, zero-shot & few-shot learning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Solid understanding of several language models (GPT-4, Gemini, Claude, Qwen, SentenceBERT, Llama, Mistral, etc.) and their key differences.
• Fluent in both English, written and spoken (French is a plus). You are also known for your strong writing skills.
• Strong listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to translate user needs into clear specifications.
• Capable of adapting your analysis and communication style to reach a wide range of stakeholders.
• Independent and curious by nature.

Responsabilités

• Participating in the scoping and design of AI-driven game features.
• Ensuring the technology is accessible and usable by different departments.
• Guaranteeing prompt content consistency across environments by testing how changes impact performance (error correction, divergence detection, rewording and clarification), while aiming to optimize latency and cost.
• Helping define and promote best practices for prompt engineering and supporting teams in implementing them.
• Contributing to the creation of both manual and automated test scenarios in collaboration with QA and AI teams.
• Analyzing bugs and feedback, identifying those related to prompt content, and suggesting improvements.
• Helping identify and test new machine learning models, as well as designing tools to support their use.
• Staying up to date on the latest in prompt engineering and AI research.
