This is the opportunity to push AI forward in a team that tries to solve one of the biggest problems in travel: planning your holiday travel. We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated LLM/Gen AI Engineer ready to fully engage in supporting our rapid growth. Reporting directly to the VP of Business & Product Innovation, you will be a key pillar of our innovation strategy.

Main Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of AI features, from technical design to production rollout

• Fine-tune and deploy large language models using machine learning frameworks

• Build pipelines for pretraining, instruction tuning, and RAG

• Develop scalable, low-latency inference services

• Collaborate with the backend and DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate foundation models into production-ready environments

• Collaborate with the product team to deliver user-focused, timely, robust and high-performance solutions

• Track model performance and continuously improve deployed solutions, focusing on model performance and data integrity

• Stay current with market trends and published papers, evaluate applicability to our stack

• Participate in peer reviews, write meaningful tests, and maintain up-to-date documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years as a ML/AI engineer, preferably in startups or scale-ups, with at least 1 year hands-on with LLMs or GenAI

• Master’s degree or Ph.D in Maths or Engineering from a top university or “Grande École”

• Fluency in Python, solid mastery of ML/CV libraries

• Strong knowledge of modern deep learning (transformers, attention, tokenization, embeddings).

• Practical experience fine-tuning or deploying LLMs (open weights or via API).

• Comfortable working with a variety of data storage systems, including relational, NoSQL, and vector databases

• Familiar with modern data infrastructure, such as data warehouses and lake architectures

• Experience optimizing models for latency and cost

• Exposure to multi-modal architectures involving text, image, or other data types

• A product mindset: you think in terms of user impact, not just code

• Fluent in English

Bonus points

• Experience in bare-metal and/or hybrid cloud environments

• Experience in C/C++

• Experience in the travel tech space or with large-scale search platforms
