Job summary

Hexa is seeking an industrial hardware engineer who is 100% AI-pilled to accelerate our Frontier Tech ventures. You will work embedded with teams to design, test and deploy AI-enabled hardware, and you will help shape AI-native product strategies from day one.

You will map bottlenecks, run CAD/firmware work, and build a repeatable AI toolkit while collaborating with founders, engineers and vendors across Paris or Brussels.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years designing, building and testing physical products in relevant sectors.
• 100% AI-pilled: you use AI daily and build automation for hardware development.
• A skeptical builder who judges tools by time saved and real impact.
• High agency to switch between projects and ship without prompts.

Responsibilities

• Map engineering bottlenecks across ventures from requirements to design, simulation, electronics and manufacturing.
• Run CAD, push PCB, write firmware agent, build digital twins, and produce automation tools for pre-sales materials.
• Set up and maintain shared AI infrastructure across ventures (agents, repos, connectors).
• Deliver hands-on workshops, train founders, write playbooks and drive real adoption of AI tools.
