ixolabs.ai is seeking a Software Expert (CAD & Engineering) to bridge AI and engineering design, ensuring AI can produce robust CAD models and simulations.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in mechanical/civil/aerospace engineering, plus expert CAD tool proficiency and MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent numerical tools. You will craft specialized training data and refine AI-generated code for complex workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering with strong programming.
• Expert proficiency in at least two CAD packages.
• Advanced MATLAB/Simulink skills for numerical computation, data analysis, and system simulation.
• Experience with CAD scripting: AutoLISP, VBA, Python.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-generated scripts and macros for CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) for correctness and design intent.
• Assess AI-produced code for engineering simulations using MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, or similar tools.
• Provide expert feedback on AI interpretation and generation of solutions for complex mathematical modeling.
• Create training data, including instruction-response pairs for parametric design, FEA, and CFD.
• Debug and refine AI-generated code for technical computing environments, ensuring robust error handling.
• Analyze AI understanding of engineering principles, material properties, and standards in code outputs.
