Teamwill Consulting is seeking an experienced AI Data Engineer to lead data migration and modernization engagements for large, regulated financial services clients. You will design pipelines, apply AI for mapping and testing, and ensure auditable, compliant migrations across global teams.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, 3 days per week, with travel as needed. Master’s degree or equivalent in CS/data engineering is required, along with 3+ years of hands-on migration experience.

Formación

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building production data pipelines, including at least one large-scale data migration or platform modernization project.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; comfortable writing tests for data pipelines (e.g. PyTest) and treating data-quality checks as code.
• Practical experience with schema as code and versioning tooling (Liquibase or equivalent) and with relational databases at production scale (PostgreSQL).
• Working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes), and of CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort working with AI tools, including LLMs and AI coding agents, as part of an engineering workflow with human accountability.
• Everything as Code mindset: pipelines, schemas, data-quality rules, and documentation are versioned, reviewable, and automated.
• Professional fluency in English; professional French for roles based in France or Tunisia.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from legacy sources into a target platform, including moving business logic into versioned, tested code; maintain ingestion and monitoring scripts with clear logging for traceability.
• Own and implement schema evolution and versioned database migrations across services; define accesses, rules, and controls with Security and Infrastructure teams.
• Design and run data reconciliation and dual-run cutover processes to prove migration is correct before retiring legacy systems.
• Build and enforce data-quality controls as automated, repeatable checks in every migration.
• Apply AI to migration-specific problems: high-level data mapping, test-plan drafting, and anomaly detection; ensure human review for agent-produced code.
• Package data-processing components as containerized services with clear APIs and contribute to shared assets.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, and client data owners to sequence migrations safely, even on live, regulated systems.
