Nexans in Paris is seeking an experienced AI leader to join the Digital, Data & AI team. You will design and deploy AI-powered solutions that boost Commercial Excellence, blending machine learning, data engineering and cloud technologies to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline.
• 5–10 years' experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Engineering or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud) and enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or SAP Datasphere.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and deliver AI solutions that create measurable commercial value.

Y’ou’ll partner with commercial leaders, data engineers and AI specialists to design and deploy intelligent solutions that improve commercial performance. Using machine learning, predictive analytics and modern cloud technologies, you’ll transform complex business challenges into scalable AI products that anticipate customer behaviour, optimise sales performance and support strategic decision-making. From concept to deployment, you’ll play a key role in embedding AI into the heart of our commercial operations.

Your Starting Points

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.

5–10 years' experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Engineering or Advanced Analytics.

Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL and modern AI/ML frameworks.

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud) and enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or SAP Datasphere.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and deliver AI solutions that create measurable commercial value.

Nice to have

Experience supporting Commercial Excellence, CRM or Order-to-Cash processes.

Knowledge of customer lifecycle management in B2B and/or B2C environments.

Experience with MLOps and production AI deployment.
