Job summary

C12 Quantum Electronics in Paris is seeking its first AI Automation Engineer to drive AI-native automation across R&D, IT/Software, and Operations. You will identify bottlenecks and design stateful AI workflows with self-hosted models, balancing rapid iteration with production-grade engineering.

You will deploy local LLM infrastructure (Ollama, vLLM or similar), implement deterministic automations, and integrate with internal tools while ensuring data sovereignty and secure on-premises operation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable AI automation projects or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python skills for data processing, automation, and logic.
• Experience with self-hosted LLM endpoints and open-source tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D, IT Operations, and Software teams to map workflows and design end-to-end AI systems.
• Deploy, maintain and optimize self-hosted LLM infrastructure while ensuring data security and compliance.
• Build robust pipelines using workflow engines and agentic frameworks powered by self-hosted models.
