Job summary

ESCP Business School seeks a senior IT leader to guide and develop delivery teams, align objectives with strategic goals, and foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

You will oversee agile ceremonies, coordinate development cycles, manage capacity, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of services across the School’s user communities. This role emphasizes leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team, set objectives, and support their achievement using the SMART framework.
• Assess and develop technical and interpersonal skills, identify training needs, and support expertise.
• Contribute to recruitment and onboarding by defining profiles, participating in interviews, and facilitating integration.
• Foster team cohesion with a motivating environment that encourages knowledge sharing and technical discussions.
• Provide ongoing support to team members, helping resolve challenges and encouraging progress.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprints, and team meetings.
• Maintain an Agile environment for regular delivery of new operational services to user communities.
• Plan and coordinate development cycles, priorities, and maintenance aligned with ESCP Business School strategy.
• Manage capacity planning by assessing resources, anticipating needs, distributing workloads, and meeting delivery commitments.
• Balance third-level support with new development initiatives.
• Prepare or validate estimates of workloads, timelines, resources, costs, and risks.
• Ensure deliverable quality through coding standards, security, and testing procedures.
• Define and monitor KPIs to track progress and objectives.
• Produce regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaborative technical decision-making and validate technology choices aligned with IS strategy.
• Oversee design, development, integration, testing, and deployment with the team.
• Reduce technical debt through refactoring and maintenance.
• Ensure quality of documentation, version control, performance, and reliability.
• Monitor trends and propose improvements addressing business and user needs.
• Act as main contact for business teams on service scope and collaborate with department managers.
• Collaborate with teams within Business Solutions and DSIN.
• Contribute to implementing the service's communication plan.
• Participate in Business Solutions Department governance meetings.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on achievements and project progress for governance committees.
