Description du poste

The collaborator will be responsible for developing and enhancing the application scope of the IT Shared Services department within LCH SA (LSEG group). Working within an Agile Feature team, the role involves delivering enhancements and fixes prioritized by the Product Owner, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of the code based on CI/CD practices.

Position within the LCH company

The collaborator will join the IT Shared Services department at LCH SA as an Agile Developer, working in a team comprising an agile master, business analysts, quality analysts, and other agile developers.

The collaborator will report to their direct manager.

Mission context

The collaborator will perform the following tasks:

  • Evaluate and estimate the impact of code changes.
  • Implement code enhancements and fixes aligned with business needs.
  • Improve code quality, collaborating with the Technical Product Manager, Cloud, and Developer Productivity teams.
  • Participate in continuous team improvements.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

Functional and technical skills

  • Proficiency in Front End development (Angular 8 & 9) and Back End (Java 20 & 21, SpringBoot 2.3).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL / PLSQL.
  • Knowledge of KSH scripting.
  • Experience with TDD development within a CI/CD pipeline.

Interpersonal skills

  • Experienced professional (more than 5 years).
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices (UT, TDD, Refactoring, Clean Code).
  • Familiarity with agile practices (User Stories, Scrum).
  • Fluent in English for daily communication with teams in London.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and capable of anticipating challenges.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work with diverse teams across Paris, London, Colombo, and external partners.
